وفي حوالي الساعة 11:00 ليلاً، توغلت قوة راجلة من جنود الاحتلال الإسرائيلي يقدر عددها بعشرة جنود مسافة تقدر بنحو 2000 متر داخل منطقة السيفا، شمال غربي بلدة بيت لاهيا. حاصر الجنود عدداً من المنازل السكنية ومن ثم اقتحموها وعبثوا بمحتوياتها بعد أن احتجزوا سكانها في غرفة في كل منزل على حدا. وأثناء توغلها وقبل انسحابها من المنطقة في حوالي الساعة 5:30 صباحاً، اعتقل الجنود الإسرائيليون 31 مواطناً من سكان المنطقة واقتادوهم لداخل الشريط الحدودي مع إسرائيل، شمال البلدة المذكورة، حيث أفرج عنهم جميعاً بعد ساعات معدودة، فيما بقي ثلاثة رهن الاعتقال وهم: نضال خضر الدحنون، 31 عاماً، وتم اعتقاله أثناء توجهه لعمله داخل محطة التجارب لتشغيل آبار المياه القريبة من مكان توغأفراد القوة؛ مسعد عطا عودة الله، 39 عاماًً وهو من سكان المنطقة؛ وسائد منصور طنبورة، 27 عاماً، وتم اعتقاله أثناء توجهه لعمله في إحدى الأراضي الزراعية في المنطقة.

انسحبت القوات الإسرائيلية مساء الأربعاء من بلدة عبسان الحدودية جنوبي قطاع غزة، بعد عملية توغل معززة بالدبابات قامت بها.
وقال راصدنا بالمكان إن طواقم الإسعاف الفلسطينية عثرت على جثة امرأة من سكان البلدة كانت قد لقيت مصرعها كما يبدو قبل العثور عليها بعدة ساعات.
وأضاف أن المسعفين لم يتمكنوا من الوصول إليها بسبب محاصرة القوات الاسرائيلية للمنطقة.
وقال مسعفون إنهم عثروا على جثمان وفاء الدغمة في العقد الرابع من عمرها وقد بدا عليها آثار الإصابة بشظايا قذيفة.وفي إطار جرائم الحرب المركبة التي تقترفها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي خلال عمليات التوغل التي تنفذها في الأراضي الفلسطينية، قتلت تلك القوات مواطنة فلسطينية وأحد رجال المقاومة، وأصابت 23 مواطناً، من بينهم أربعة مدنيين منهم امرأة واثنان من الأطفال. جرى ذلك خلال الأعمال الحربية والقصف التي رافقت عملية التوغل التي نفذتها فجر اليوم في عبسان الجديدة، شرق خان يونس. وأسفرت عملية التوغل، التي استمرت حتى ساعات المساء، عن تدمير 43 منزلاً سكنياً ما بين كلي وجزئي وتجريف نحو 327 دونماً من الأراضي الزراعية، فضلاً عن إلحاق أضرار بالغة في البنية التحتية وشبكتي الهاتف والكهرباء وبعض الممتلكات الخاصة.
ففي حوالي الساعة 1:00 فجر اليوم المذكور أعلاه، توغلت وحدات عسكرية راجلة خاصة من قوات الاحتلال مسافة 1000 متر داخل منطقة عبسان الجديدة، المحاذية للشريط الحدودي مع إسرائيل، شرقي مدينة خان يونس. اقتحم أفراد تلك الوحدات عدداً من منازل المواطنين في المنطقة، واحتجزوا سكانها في غرفة من كل منزل على حدا، وحولوها لثكنات عسكرية. وفي وقت لاحق بدأت تتقدم باتجاه المنطقة تعزيزات من آليات الاحتلال العسكرية ترافقها جرافات عسكرية، قامت بأعمال تجريف في المنطقة وسط قصف عشوائي وتحليق مكثف للطائرات الحربية وعند حوالي الساعة 4:30 فجراً، أطلقت طائرات الاحتلال صاروخاً تجاه مجموعة من رجال المقاومة كانت تحاول التصدي للتوغل الذي نفذته قوات الاحتلال. أسفر ذلك عن إصابة ثلاثة من أفراد المجموعة بجروح متوسطة، وتم نقلهم إلى مستشفى ناصر بمدينة خان يونس.
وعند حوالي الساعة 7:00 صباحاً، أطلقت قوات الاحتلال قذيفة مدفعية تجاه تجمع للمواطنين ولرجال المقاومة ما أدى إلى إصابة اثنين، أحدهما مدني والآخر من رجال المقاومة، بجروح متوسطة بعد إصابتهما بشظايا في أنحاء متفرقة من الجسم. والمصاب المدني، هو: سالم مشرف عرفات، 25 عاماً.
وعند الساعة 9:55 أطلقت قوات الاحتلال قذائف تجاه منزل مهجور كان يتواجد به ومحيطه عدد من رجال المقاومة في منطقة التوغل ما أدى إلى إصابة خمسة بشظايا في أنحاء متفرقة من الجسم منهم، ووصفت جراحهم بأنها متوسطة.
وعند الساعة 1:40 بعد الظهر، أطلقت طائرة حربية صاروخين تجاه مجموعة من رجال المقاومة في المنطقة، ما أدى إلى مقتل أحدهم وإصابة سبعة آخرين بجروح وصفت حالة أحدهم بالخطيرة.
وعند الساعة 2:55 عادت طائرات الاحتلال لتطلق صاروخاً جديداً استهدف مجموعة من رجال المقاومة قرب المقبرة في المنطقة ما أدى إلى إصابة ثلاثة منهم بجروح بين طفيفة ومتوسطة.وجراء القصف العشوائي المتفرق خلال عملية التوغل أصيب ثلاثة من المدنيين، وهم امرأة وطفلان، بجروح متوسطة. والمصابون: هم
1) فاطمة محمد شاهين، 67 عاماً، وأصيبت بشظايا سطحية في الأطراف.
2) سامي جميل أبو عنزة، 16 عاماً.
3) عادل أحمد أبو خاطر، 16 عاماً.

وفي حوالي الساعة 11:00 مساءً، توغلت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، معززة بالآليات العسكرية ترافقها الجرافات، وسط قصف عشوائي وتحليق من الطائرات الحربية مسافة 1200 متر في بلدة خزاعة، شرقي مدينة خان يونس. شرعت تلك القوات بأعمال تجريف واسعة في الأراضي الزراعية استمرت حتى الساعة الخامسة فجر اليوم التالي،
